In these uncertain times we’ve been working all hours to prepare our clients to keep their businesses as Active as possible.
Most of our clients have been set up with VPN’s so they can work from home and using our VoIP telecom systems we’ve been able to make sure no calls go unanswered.
We’ve gone one step further and have sent out a guide on how to set up a VPN to those who are already self-isolating. This has proved to be very successful.
We’ve had lots of enquiries from people including existing customers panic buying laptops. As an IT provider we make sure our clients make use of what they already have. All our existing clients and most businesses we have spoken to, should be able to utilise their existing equipment to do this already.
The advice we’ve given is please don’t spend your money or your company’s money unnecessarily, (take a breath, as long as you are 2m from anyone else that is, and calm down) look at what you already have. By creating VPN’s or providing Cloud access using your existing IT infrastructure and equipment, most people’s home PC’s and laptops can be used to work remotely and still be kept secure.
All of this is inclusive for those clients who have a support contract with us. We have not charged any extra for the set-up of VPN’s or to divert calls. We stick by our promise that our contracts have no hidden charges – we stick by our word “we’ll help to keep your business ACTIVE”.
